Every Bluesky post carries public counters for likes, reposts, replies, quotes and bookmarks. The tool reads up to 300 of an account's most recent feed items, drops reposts and replies so every number belongs to something the account wrote, and works from what's left.
- Engagement rate is the median post's likes + reposts + replies + quotes, divided by followers. We use the median so one viral post doesn't define the account. It's the same definition as our Bluesky engagement rate study, which is where the size-matched benchmark comes from.
- Top posts are ranked by that same engagement total.
- Post types compare text, image, video, link and quote posts by median engagement.

What no Bluesky analytics tool can show
Views, impressions and reach don't exist on Bluesky. The AT Protocol has no field for them, so a tool that shows a reach number is estimating it. Profile visitors aren't recorded either; see can you see who viewed your Bluesky profile . Yes. There's no signup, no login and no app password. Bluesky serves likes, reposts, replies, quotes and follower counts to anyone through its public API, so the tool reads the same numbers you could see by scrolling the profile, then does the math.
Can I see impressions or views for my Bluesky posts?
No, and no tool can. Bluesky doesn't record views or impressions anywhere in the AT Protocol, so any tool that shows a reach number is estimating it from engagement. This tool reports only what Bluesky actually counts.
What is a good engagement rate on Bluesky?
It depends on follower count, so compare against accounts your size. Across 496 active accounts we measured on September 11, 2026, the median post's engagement divided by followers was 16.48% under 100 followers, 1.83% at 100–999, 1.04% at 1,000–9,999, 0.46% at 10,000–99,999 and 0.06% above 100,000.
Can I check analytics for someone else's Bluesky account?
Yes. Any public handle works, and the account isn't notified. It's all public data, the same counters shown under every post.
